More than 5,000 people gathered on Tuesday to a May 18 demonstration in favor of the LGBT community organized by the Brazilian Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (ABGLT).

The participants demanded the same rights as other citizens have, as the possibility of access to marriage.

The organization said more than 40 buses came from all over the country with the 5,000 protesters who got the start.
