'Expogays' the largest group of public and private entities that support the LGBT community, has initiated campaign to achieve equal marriage in the European Union as a whole.
The initiative began during the celebration of the past International Day Against Homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.
In the three days leading online has gotten about 1,400 signatures. Almost 60% of them came from Poland, compared to 30% made in Spain and 6% in Italy.
To achieve the one million signatures in a year, every day should join the initiative 2,740 people.
The campaign uses the mechanism that initiated the European Commission on 16 February this year, which states that a representative group of member countries can work directly with the European Commission to debate the legislation countries that make up the Union.
