The PSOE wanted to remember as the right wing parties have boycotted and worsened the situation of minorities LGBT on the European continent "in Europe we are seeing an alarming rise of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity with the consent of right-wing governments. Examples of this involution we have them in countries like Italy, where violence against LGBT people has increased significantly with the passivity of the authorities or to deny driving licenses to homosexuals under the guise unscientific that homosexuality is a disease. Other countries like Lithuania right wing governments have passed laws prohibiting talking about sexual orientation and gender identity in schools, and in Hungary the government, right wing, has altered the country's constitution to explicitly prohibit the right to marriage for same-sex couples. "
Pedro Zerolo
mentioned the rejection of the Partido Popular (PP) to equality: "The PP commitment to maintaining the inequality and delete rights won against a socialist government is firm on fighting all forms of discrimination and bet on the extension of rights [...] the PP shows his homophobia every day that passes without withdrawing its appeal against the marriage.
